1、 What is C-grade sperm

Sperm motility refers to the ability or intensity of sperm activity. Sperm motility directly reflects the quality of sperm. 2、 Can C-grade sperm conceive?

Vitality C has a probability of pregnancy, but the probability is relatively low. Sperm can be divided into Class A, Class B, Class C, and Class D. Class A and Class B sperm have strong fertility, while Class C and Class D sperm have weak fertility. C-type sperm are generally sperm with poor vitality and cannot move forward, so the probability of pregnancy for women is relatively low. The mobility of A-grade sperm is relatively poor, and although it can cause a spouse to conceive, the probability of a spouse becoming pregnant is also relatively low. The quality and motility of a semen mainly depend on the percentage of A-grade or B-grade sperm. Under normal circumstances, the percentage of A-grade sperm is≥ 25%, or A+B grade sperm percentage≥ 50%. If it is below this normal value, it is asthenozoospermia.

3、 Can C-grade sperm be used for in vitro fertilization?

Nowadays, more and more people are doing in vitro fertilization. In many cases, C-grade sperm belong to sperm that can only swing but cannot move. If you do not have A-grade and B-grade sperm, and you have a strong desire to use your own sperm to conceive offspring, you can also use second-generation IVF to help you conceive. Overall, C-grade sperm are considered a relatively poor type of sperm, and can only be said to be still in motion, making it almost impossible to pursue as fast as possible.
